19.FIRE DOOR RESISTANCE

As we know every Mall have fire door resistance including Mega Mall at Kuantan. However we should
renovate it to become more stronger and can help when fire burning happen at there.


This is the fire door resistance at the Mega Mall



Probem statement :


  1. Fire door are not strong resistance.
  2. Fire door are not soundproof.
  3. The fire door resistance cannot holds when happen fire burning in a long time.
  4. The signboard is too small that shows the fire door is dangerous to people.
  5. There are no sign about the steps or precaution that people can know how to avoid fire burning at the Mega Mall if happen.

Solution :

  1. Fire door should have strength to retain its shape when receiving a shock.
  2. Build a sound proof fire door resistance in the Mega Mall.
  3. The fire door resistance should be made of a durable coating to withstand a fire in a long time.
  4. Put a large signboard on the top of the door to help people know where the fire door resistance is place.
  5. Stamp a method of fire drill safety onto the information board or beside the fire door resistance.

17.TAXI SERVICE





Each mall in the Malaysia must have taxi will be around.This is also happen at the Mega Mall,Kuantan
But at the Mega Mall,there are some reason why people become decrease to use a taxi.
there is as below :

Problem statement :


  1. People usually park their car at the parking.
  2. There are no specific signboard show that is a taxi parking.
  3. The taxi parking lots are too small and not arrangable.
  4. The taxi parking lot are too nearest with the bus stop.
  5. The cost that user need to pay is not fixed. So that, many people do not like to use taxi at all.








Solutions :
  1. Use a private card for taxi's driver members. So that only taxi driver can pass through their lot park.
  2. Prepare a new signboard that more larger and use the bright colour onto it sign.
  3. Make a large parking lot for taxi service and make sure that they park their car only only at the taxi lot.
  4. Separate the parking between the taxi lot and the parking bus.
  5. Use the meter taxi system in each of the cab according the distance.

14.Notice Board



Problems of the notice board in the Megamall are:

  1.   The information on the notice board has to be physically pinned up.
  2.  The notice boards cluttered with older messages.
  3. Not attractive.
  4.   The information that pinned up are not real at time. This become a problem if  it in emergency situations.
  5.  The notice board can’t taken to outside because of weather factors.



Solutions of the notice board in the Megamall are:
  1.   By using electronics notice board, information can be uploaded centrally and distributed to all notice boards on a site.
  2.  This gadjet also make the information less clutter. The older messages can be deleted and the newer messages given precedents.
  3.  Make it more aesthetics. It is like more attractive than conventional cluttered notice board.
  4.   Using the electronic notice board, the information provision in realtime. This is crucial for emergency situations.
  5.   The electronics notice board can be taken outside too.

7.INFORMATION CENTER






PROBLEM :
  1. The name of the information center is too general
  2. The place information center is not strategic.
  3. Sometimes the worker are not at appeave when its time.
  4. People do not know the service provided at Information Center.
  5. The qualification of the worker are good.

SOLUTION :
  1. Change name of information center to modern name such as " one stop center"
  2. Put the center beside the main entrance of the center.
  3. The worker at the Information Center should honest their worke and do their work.
  4. List the service that provided at Information Center at put on the board at the Mega Mall.
  5. Officer of Mega Mall should choose worker that have a good qualification and friendly.

5.BUS STOP













PROBLEM :

  1. The limited area of seat in bus stop and and small space to accommdate people.
  2. Hide sign board from the people sight.
  3. The bus stop can't secure people from rain and hot.
  4. People do not know the schedule of the bus.
  5. The bus stop too dark of hight and just depend light from Mega Mall.

SOLUTION :

  1. Renovate the spacing area of bus stop more and make more seat at here.
  2. Use glittering sign board and put it on the root top of the bus stop.
  3. Build a new signboard which have time and date of bus's schedule.
  4. Build shelter to protect user and make them comfortable
  5. Fix lamp and fan in the bus stop.

4.PUBLIC PHONE







PROBLEM :

Nowsdays, people are not use public phone , this is because of the latest gadgets that more advantage foer user.

The problem that I got about public phone at Mega Mall are :

  1. Outdated public phone at the outdoor and indoor of Mega Mall.
  2. There are no privacy for user to use the public phone.
  3. More flyers stamped ot the public phone and vandalisme occur.
  4. The design of public phone is not attractive.
  5. User should spend a lot of coil to make a call. 


SOLUTION :

  1. Change the public phone to the latest design that more sleek and modern.
  2. Build the public phone in the PVC 'ray' to avoid user from rain and hot, and if we use the PVC it more cheapable and durable.
  3. Put alarm that can detect the action of vandlisme and when the wall is broken.
  4. Renorate the design become more unique and attractive.
  5. Use ATM card to make a call to replace the using of coil at the public phone.
